Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Guwahati – Shillong (110Km /3 Hours)

    Meet and greet on arrival at Guwahati Airport and transfer to Shillong the capital of Meghalaya, the abode of clouds. On the way to Shillong visit Umiam Lake. Check in to tour Hotel. After brief fresh n up visit Lady Hydari Park, Wards Lake, Night, stay in Shillong.

  • Day 2 - Shillong – Cherrapunjee (65Km/02 Hours)

    After breakfast transfer to Cherrapunjee. On the way to Cherrapunjee you can visit Shillong peak ( Provided it is allowed by the administration) Elephant Falls. On reaching Cherrapunjee visit Arwah Cave, Noh-Ka-Likai Falls, Eco Park, Seven Sister Falls and Mawsmai Cave. Later drive to your hotel. Night, stay in Cherrapunjee.

  • Day 3 - Cherrapunjee – Mawlynnong- Dawki (89 Km / 2-3 Hours)

    After breakfast transfer to Mawlynnong village and explore the cleanest village in Asia, we will also experience the wonder of the Khasi war Tribes – The Single Decker living Root Bridge at Riwai village. Also experience the panoramic view of the Bangladesh from 85 ft high sky walk made of bamboo by the locals. Thereafter drive to Dawki village (along Indo Bangladesh Border), and go for a Boat ride in Umngot River bordering India and Bangladesh, also known as crystal clear lake. Night stay in Dawki.

  • Day 4 - Dawki – Phe Phe Falls- Krangshuri Falls- Monolith Garden –Shillong (165KM/3Hours)

    Today after Breakfast transfer to Krangshuri Falls- Jowai. Thereafter visits the famous Monoliths Garden and the Jayanti Temple. Later transfer to Shillong Night, stay in Shillong.

  • Day 5 - Shillong – Guwahati (3 Hours/110 Km)

    After breakfast drive to Mawphlang. On reaching Mawphlang you can visit Mawphlang Sacred Forest, Khasi Heritage Village. Later drive to Laitlum. Here you can enjoy the Great Canyon. Check in to your Hotel. Later visit the Brahmaputra Heritage Centre, Assam state Museum, Evening is free to enjoy the River Cruise in the mighty River Brahmaputra. Night, stay in Guwahati.

  • Day 6 - Guwahati – Local Sightseeing

    Early morning visit to Kamakhya Temple its necessary to obtain a VIP Pass to avoid the rush. Then Visit the DashaMahavidyas — ten forms of the Divine Mother that encompass both the essence of existence and the paths of transformation in yogic practice. These include Kali (Time), Tara (Word), Tripura Sundari (Light), Bhuvaneshvari (Space), Bhairavi (Energy), Chinnamasta (Perception), Dhumavati (Voidness), Bagalamukhi (Stillness), Matangi (Knowledge), and Kamala (Delight). Then Visit the Rukmini Krishna Temple (ISKON Guwahati), Continue to the ancient Bhimashankara Temple, as per Shiva purana the Bhimashankara Temple has been claimed as the 12th Jyotir Ling. Then visit the serene Balaji Temple, and the spiritual Basistha Temple. Later explore Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra, a cultural complex showcasing Assam’s rich heritage. Conclude your day with a visit to Fancy Bazaar, a bustling local market ideal for shopping souvenirs, local textiles, and trying street food. Overnight stay in Guwahati.

  • Day 7 - Guwahati Half Day Local Sightseeing and Then Tour Ends

    Today after breakfast transfer to Hajo- famous for Madhava Temple which resembles one of the God of Jagannath Temple of Orissa. Hayagriva Madhava Temple is situated on the Monikut hill. The present temple structure was constructed by the King Raghudeva Narayan in 1583. According to some historians, the King of Pala dynasty constructed it in the 6th century. It is a stone temple and it enshrines an image of Hayagriva Madhava. Some Buddhists believe that the Hayagriva Madhava temple, best known in the group of Hindu temples, is where the Buddha attained Nirvana of Vishnu by the Hindus. It is a stone temple and it enshrines an image of Hayagriva Madhav. The rows of elephants are seen on the body of the temple and they are fine specimens of Assamese art. Later proceed for Ashwaklanta Temple, then Dol Govinda Temple and Dirgeshwari Temple which is located in North Guwahati. Later in the evening is free to do shopping in Guwahati. Night, stay in Guwahati.

  • Day 8 - Guwahati – Sualkuchi (40Km/2Hours)

    Today after Breakfast check out and transfer to Sualkuchi – The Manchester of East. Sualkuchi is famous for its rare and world famous Golden Silk. Here you can purchase different kind of materials loved and liked by our ladies. Thereafter drop at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station for onward destination.
