Itinerary

Day 1 - Guwahati Sightseeing

Meet and greet on arrival at Guwahati Airport and then ride along the red River Brahmaputra to your Hotel in Guwahati. Check in to your Hotel. After brief fresh n up enjoy a cable ride on the River Brahmaputra to get the view of Umananda Temple situated on an Island which is famous as the smallest River Island on Earth. Evening is free to explore the Fancy Bazaar and the River cruise in the mighty River Brahmaputra. Night, stay in Guwahati.

Day 2 - Kamakhya Temple – Cherrapunjee - Shillong (240 Km / 5 Hours)

Today after breakfast transfer to Kamakhya Temple. It is suggested to obtain a special pass to avoid waiting time. Also its mandatory to have a Covid taste before entering Kamakhya. There after drive to Shillong – the capital city of Meghalaya. You are suggested to take a midway halt near Umiam Lake. Here you will get the picturesque view of this magnificent manmade lake. Check in to your Hotel. After fresh n up visit the century old Wards lake and the Lady Hydri Park. If time permits visit the Laitlum Canyon or the Shillong Peak. From here you will get the Birds eye view of the Shillong City. Evening is free to explore the Police Bazaar. Night, stay in Shillong.

Day 3 - Shillong – Mawlynnong- Dawki- Shillong (80 Kms / 2 Hours)

Today after breakfast transfer to Mawlynnong- the cleanest village in Asia. Here you will get the opportunity to get a view of the world famous living root bridge and the balancing rock. After having Lunch at Mawlynnong transfer to Dawki Village- a small bordering town which separates India Bangladesh international border. Check in to your Hotel. After a brief halt take a boat ride in the River Umngot. Later explore the near by area . Later transfer to Shillong. Night, Stay in Shillong.

Day 4 - Shillong - Cherrapunjee - Guwahati

Today after breakfast transfer to Cherrapunjee the rainiest place on Earth. On way visit the Elephant Falls, Seven sister Falls and Nohkalikai Falls. At Cherrapunjee visit the Mawsmai Caves and other lime stone caves. Later transfer to Guwahati. Night, stay in Guwahati.

Day 5 - End of Tour (Guwahati)

After early breakfast check out from the hotel and drive back to Guwahati and drop off at the Guwahati Railway Station/Airport for your onward destination.
