Andamans is a little slice of heaven. The first time I went there, in 2009, I was totally blown away by the blue green sea, the long beaches, the mangroves and more. In over four years of hardcore travelling, it still remains one of my favourite places in the world. Because of it’s history, it’s life,it’s water sports,it’s beaches, corals, sea foods, climate, scubadiving ,adventures and lot more

Day 1

Fly to Andaman

Fly in the morning to Port Blair. A car will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to the hotel. Freshen up and meet the rest of the mad gang on this trip. And get to know each other a bit! Later, we head out for lunch, so freshen up, wear whatever suits your style, don those sunglasses and let’s go! In the evening, we go to Cellular Jail and see a pretty Sounds and Lights show that talks about much of what happened on the island!

Day 2

Day2 : Transfer by fast boat to Havelock Island; O/N Havelock Island

Today, after breakfast, we leave for Andaman’s most beautiful island – Havelock. It is one of my favourite islands in the world, and I can’t even begin to tell you how many colours I saw in the sea in my time there. Long beaches, mangroves and cliffs in the distance, the colours breaking into translucent light green, turquoise, cobalt and blue; the countryside inviting you to bike around; small huts posing as cafes by the road; Havelock is but a backpackers paradise. The ferry takes about 1.5 hours to get there, and we then check in to our hotel. Towards late afternoon, we head to Radhanagar beach – the most beautiful beach on the island and voted as Asia’s best in 2004. It’s gorgeous, the white sand stretches endlessly, with a mangrove forest in the background. The water is turquoise, great for swimming and has splendid coral reefs. The most fun way to do this would be to rent Scootys and zip around the island! You haven’t really lived the island holiday if you aren’t going around on bikes and scootys There is no better place to catch a sunset, and prepare to see one of the best sunsets of your life! After dinner, let’s just stroll on the beach and sit under the stars, lie on the sand, and the sound of the waves overwhelm us. The night sky over Havelock island will be incredibly clear and let’s hope we see a dozen shooting stars tonight

Day 3

Short trek to Elephant Beach ; O/N Havelock Island

Today, we are going to Elephant Beach. It is a lovely part of Havelock, which can be reached both by boat as well as by road or hiking. it’s one of the best place for snorkeling, sea walking and jet ski riding Explorers that we are, we will not do the touristy boat bit to the beach, and instead shall trek to this beach through a forest. The route is exciting, marshy in bits, is through a dense jungle, and will take you about an hour or 40 minutes to reach the beach. Towards the fag end of the trek, you will reach a surreal spot. What happened was that in 2005, during the Tsunami, the sea came in to the jungle and took the last bit of it permanently and you can still see traces of sea water here, among a lot of dead trees. Walk on and you will find yourself on the beach. Reward yourself by just relaxing, or play with a ball or Frisbee or swim in the crystal clear waters of the beautiful ocean. If you walk about 300 metres to your left, there are a lot of boat operators offering water sports. We will go for snorkeling then. If you want you can try other water sports like jet ski, etcs. Do note, these other watersports besides snorkeling aren’t part of the package. We return back before sunset because we don’t want to be walking in the jungle at night

Day 4

Well today you will be heading to Niel Island.one of the best islands of Andaman and Nicobar islands.Neil Island is one of India’s Andaman Islands, in the Bay of Bengal. Bharatpur Beach has coral reefs teeming with tropical fish. Laxmanpur Beach is known for its sunset views. Howrah Bridge is a natural rock formation accessible at low tide. Near the island’s wharf is Neil Kendra village, with a curving, sandy bay dotted with boats. Off the southeast coast, the tiny Sir Hugh Rose Island is a sanctuary for turtles.after taking a tour around niel Island you will be taken back to the hotel.
